'Sexist trousers' are below the belt



Personally, I find this quite humerous. The writer of the article in the Telegraph however seems to have had a sense of humour bypass.

Now normally I am the type of person who can stomach, and often smile along, with a touch of what has just become known as casual sexist ‘banter’

However, this crass message stitched onto the label in these cheap chinos from Madhouse, genuinely took me aback.

There was no attempt at wit, and unlike the Topman t-shirts, which offended so many with their brazen slogans to be worn across young men’s chests - this was a hidden message - or rather an order, intended to encourage women to reassume their once their ‘proper place’ (in the home) and young men to maintain the expectations of their grandfathers.

I think that the writer is taking the whole thing too seriously. How can men and women be expected to get along if they can't laugh at themselves?

I think it's clever. (I'm a woman)

As usual, this is just people looking for things to be offended about. It's a disease spreading across the nation.

I'll wash it. With regular bleach.

If we cannot laugh at our stereotypes we are waay too uptight.
This label reminds me of the old question, "Why do women not wear wristwatches?
Answer, " Because there is a clock on the damn stove, now go make me a sammich"!!

This is hilarious All the women I know would have a chuckle at this. This Emma Barnett chick has her panties in a bunch. There are so many adverts out there portraying men as total idiots it's crazy. Do you see any of us complain? No we don't because we can laugh at ourselves. Now, Emma go back to the kitchen and make your man a samich. Just kidding.

I actually find it funny in this world full of propaganda. it pokes a little bit fun.
This feminism crap has to go along with american imperialism. Modern feminism has done more bad for women and society in general. The original idea of feminism and equal rights for women has been twisted and turned so many times into more brain washing propaganda that most westernized women would have an outrage over the slightest thing. they have lost their feminine side and have become delusional, just look at the high divorce rates, in america or in the western world. China was also having a similar issue after after some american influence, I think at a point this issue became so concerning that they were promoting prenups and making it mandatory in some cases. China's divorce rates went sky high in a matter of years, a girl would get married only to divorce the guy after a year and inherit half his fortune, What once was a sacred bond has now turned into a business in favor for the woman. the media is equally responsible for promoting and glorifying teenage pregnancy, sex and being whorish, they start trying to sexualize little girls and demorilizing as young as 13. Just look at the Disney Channel and how much it has changedReason being why so many american men have started dating and settling down with women outside the western world, they are superior morally and in every way, they are women who still look and act like women regardless of how selfish and reckless we guys can get

I bet Mrs Barnett, who apparently finds this joke "sexist" and "offensive", often sits down and watches Loose Women on ITV1 and laughs at all the nasty things they say about men.

But, of course, it's all right for women to be sexist against men. I mean, it's just a joke, innit?
