The Polar bears are being killed for pleasure not food.

polar bears like all bears are opportunistic
they go where the food is
the food is where the people are

we can shoot NUISANCE bears
if we don't they will EAT YOU

now I just have to deal with thier southern cousins which because of a vastly reduced hunt are now over populating like mad

well the ice isn't melting
and the bears can swim for 100s of miles
that was a LIE

the hunt is managed and one of the few sources of incomes for the innuit guides and northern people
and as a previous poster pointed out
p-bears eat the poor widdle baby seals mangled and live

we have to save the seals
