Hi all just joined up because I have a theory/thought.

Ok so I've been following this site for quite a while and only now thought I'd join in on the discussion. First I suppose I'd better say a big HELLO!

Now onto what I wanted to discuss, it's regarding the political/monetary system. So here is what I was thinking. TPTB have been printing money willy nilly, we all know this, they have also kept us all very well distracted while they go about gaining all the real wealth! Ie resources etc. This is also pretty much common knowledge. You also have people saying that we need to go back to the gold standard, people like ron paul, he is a huge supporter of this.

I will tell you that I believe in the ron paul message of liberty and freedom etc. Hell I even like how the guy comes across. But is going back to the gold standard going to help us? Do you think that TPTB are hoarding the worthless fiat money or electronic digits? Isn't it more likely that they would be hoarding GOLD? So say we went back to the gold standard, wouldn't TPTB still be on top? Wouldn't ron paul be well aware of this? If it is the case wouldn't it make him another shill?

It seems to me like TPTB have been creating all this fake money then are using it to buy up real assets/resources. Maybe they have all they need/want now, that is why they are all bailing. It doesn't matter what we do on the financial front because they already have it all! Also say we went back to a gold or silver standard wouldn't that make the price of gold go up even more? Making TPTB even wealthier?

I'm sure this has probably been discussed or thought of already but I just wanted to put it out there.
