The red needle is clearly counting how many users have acquired a wave unit. It has gone up steadily since I received mine. I think this is just a waiting game now. Try to spread the word!

Just so you know, the red counter is being updated live, every six seconds, to be precise.

Oh, and for the record, looks like it is for a show. Checked the source code.


*Edit* Might not be a show, the source i was looking at was just a twitter share.

Nice to know about the pointer - it looks like the gauge is on 250

Just got my wave unit. So far it looks like we're not even a quarter of the way there though. I wonder if it only keeps track of people who are logged in at that time or if it tracks how many times the video plays.

I've got six waveunits - all in separate tabs.

The needle goes up with each one & doesn't seem to go back down if I close the tabs.

Odd. I thought they would track IP Adresses to ensure people have only wave unit.

Then I guess it's time to start spamming wave units. By the time we reach 1000 I'm pretty sure I'll have memorized the tap code for "Type Sixteen."

They might have just done it by tracking the video command and not ip as a back up plan if 1000 people weren't hooked like us lol..

or we could all be wrong and it is just set to increase over time regardless of people. Wondering if we should tweet them and see if they will tell us how many people have wave units now.
