North Korea agrees to halt nuclear activities for food

Washington (CNN) -- North Korea has agreed to halt nuclear tests, long-range missile launches and enrichment activities at its Yongbyon nuclear complex in exchange for food aid from the United States, the State Department said Wednesday.

They say, in the article its a modest step and while I agree I also feel it could lead to a much BIGGER step.

This little "bend" is what the world has been waiting for from North Korea and hopefully this can build a little trust between North Korea and the world.

I only hope the world (US) chooses to do the right thing and move forward.

According to Hilary Clinton ""We've always said that we are willing to talk," she said. "This is the first time that, under this new leader, we've had this opportunity, and we'll follow through."

Time will tell.
