Interesting supposition, There just may be several people that are bankrolled by the very people that they claim to despise, simply to do as the interviewee suggested and seek to tear down the Fed simply to institute the same system, only under a different name, with a clean slate. My conspiracy-conscious mind has deliberated this possibility in the past. However, if Dr. Paul were one of those people, his campaign contributions wouldn't come solely from individuals without large corporate/banking interests. Also, he has constantly talked about returning to the gold standard, not another fiat currency perpetuated by a Federal Reserve alternative. Why would almost all of his financial investments be in precious metals if he didn't believe in sound currency, backed by something of actual value?

This guy's theory doesn't hold water when it is applied to Ron Paul.

Agreed. Also, Paul doesn't advocate simply dismantling the Fed or getting rid of it outright, he's pushing the idea of getting rid of legal tender laws and allowing the market to decide accordingly (and forcing the Fed to get competitive and reign in their ridiculous and damaging monetary policies) by allowing competing currencies to force the Fed's hand.

The general idea of problem-reaction-solution presented here is sound, but doesn't jive with Paul's proposals as far as I can tell...he seems to be presenting the least-damaging options to resolve the situation, IMHO.

UUUUm hello??? wouldnt an "illuminated" person get more media exposure ? wouldnt they be FOR war ? im sure as a politician Ron has been associated with ALL TYPES. no one is perfect. But why look at the underdog, why not look at the top dog ? huh? huh? Goldman Sachs benefit from the stimulus they pushed for, then the employees quit and are obamas beurocrats.. Pray tell, where do YOU think all of the gold 'and silver, rhodium, platinum, paladium, at all (sic)' is? Is it in the hands of our Reptilian Overlords who originally engineered us from the genetic stock of Homo-Erectus, simply to mine their precious metals? Is Dr. Paul merely a rogue Reptilian, capitalizing on the scarcity of the metals that he has invested in mining and saving, knowing that if he destroys this fiat currency that he will become incredibly rich, not just on this planet, but also in some intergalactic federation of effing philarguria?
