This is an original song that I collaborated online with Matt Christensen. He recorded and arranged all of the music and I recorded/wrote all of the vocals and lyrics. Matt was nominated the best guitarist in his state several years in a row and it was quite an honor to record for his track and have him tell me he loved it.

I Am The Destroyer

This track has a lot of influences that can be heard, including Meshuggah, Iron Maiden, Between the Buried and Me, etc. I really enjoyed recording to this song so I hope everyone likes it as much as we do. Let me know what you think! But don't try to bash me just because you don't like screaming type vocals, please.

The lyrics may hit home with some people although they are fictional, they are loosely based upon the world I have seen around me and things I may see happening in the future. Here they are:

we cannot lose this fight
our very lives depend on this
they burned our homes and stole our peace
they killed our sons and smashed our dreams
some tried to run but it's no use
hunted down, put to the noose
the only chance that we have now
is to stand up and fight for our freedom!
it's all we have left
so stand up my brothers and sisters
and take back what is ours...take it back!

we found that true strength lies within
our hearts have changed we won't give in
the time is now to fight or die
the tides have turned now in our light
i give my life now to this cause
return the favor for the lives we've lost
in death i shall have victory
because I know that I died for my freedom!
it's all we have left
so stand up my brothers and sisters
and take back what is ours...take it back!

i am destroyer...
blood on my hands... (x2)
run and #ing hide...

Raw, brutal and tAsty!
Good stuff.
I was gonna get a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up but after listening to that I better chill out before I strangle the postman or something.

Great vocals for the style.
I blame Max Cavalera, of course.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments! We are planning on collaborating on some more tracks starting sometime in March, so it shouldn't be too long until I am able to post some more brutal tracks.

I checked out a couple of your tracks spaceg0at, they are pretty sweet!

And I am glad that you were able to get a rush from the track Asktheanimals! It certainly has an adrenaline fueled feel to it.

I have been looking for a band to thrash to in my local area, but have not been very successful since my last band broke up. That is why I started looking for alternatives, and found out online collaboration can be really fun and rewarding.

sick song dude, his leads are awesome, i really like your vocals too. I'm not a huge fan of metalcore, more into death metal
but i really enjoyed listening to this. Look forward to hearing more collaborations.

i would if i had the equipment honestly. no one in this town is looking for a vocalist.
but that probably has to do with the fact that every damn scene kid you can shake a keychain at already has a band and there are no talented musicians.
why does everyone think they can be a metal singer?

The music scene around my area is pretty non existent as well. There are only a couple venues to play, and they don't really attract big crowds often either. I have been posting ads all the time trying to find other musicians to play with but have been mostly unsuccessful, although I will be auditioning for a band in the next couple days which is a breakthrough.

I think an ATS metal collaboration is a pretty sick idea!

Same here man, around me it's a lot of indie bands and pop rock, that sort of thing. Not really my style what so ever, my friend and I just record stuff in my basement
better than nothing or having to play in a band i wouldn't enjoy
