UFOs, Sprites and Horns...

Hello. I find myself coming across ATS pages a lot and so I decided to sign up.

I’m finding this whole skyquake (“horns around the world”) phenomenon fascinating and can’t help but feel it’s somehow connected to the mysterious animal deaths (mostly birds and fish.) Both have started in recent years. NASA has a scientific theory that might explain it: science.nasa.gov... But even if this were true, the question remains: why now? Such sounds have never been heard before.

My favourite non-fiction author is Colin Wilson and I currently share his view that ghosts, demons, aliens, UFOs, big foots and the Loch Ness Monster are the same thing: entities that take on shapes or forms so that they can interact with us in some way (even manifesting physically for a short time.) Not far from where I live there was a famous incident where people witnessed a UFO crash into a lake but when it was searched nothing was found. To me this makes perfect sense. Also, I’ve seen UFOs myself and they usually strike me as more organic (shape-shifting) than technological.

Besides being curious about spiritualism and the paranormal, I’m also a writer, poet, artist and philosopher. I see great changes coming our way as we devour our natural resources and we keep heading towards a brick wall (nothing stops progress.) It’s sad and alarming. Somehow we have to change course.

hello and welcome from Australia i have been looking at the skye for years through my telescope i have seen one as they say fast walker dont know what it was ?? i haven't heard strange noises here but i am open to all sorts of suggestions we live in interesting times but i do wish that people would stop posting C G I s its just boring i hope you have as much fun on this sight as i have i am one of those people who will believe things when they are tangible or they hit me on the head

I'm basically with ya on the shape-shifting characteristics of our various anomalies. It makes a lot of sense out of our mysterious past & present.

They do sound disturbing. It's like a haunting, deathly wail...with horns screaming. It gives me a very unpleasant feeling.

I've seen a number of diferent kinds of UFOs, myself. Some are like orbs, others are shaped differently but also look like pure light, and others are like drifting shadow forms. I personally just think it's the Spirit World playing with our minds. A shaman might be able to discern a deeper meaning from such things, but I'd say we're just being 'played' with.

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret, also known as ATS, the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.


* Please check out those links posted above before getting on one of the rides. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

* Please be sure to act like an 'civil' adult and are at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward).

* Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride your all on. You should be mentally fit, stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

* Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might expect. Be aware you also might end up learning something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride.

* Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.
