Generators- If you have the money, We invested in solar panels hidden from sight and a Hydro Plant that runs off the year round stream, powers the
whole house. We also have a hospital grade generator, but that’s for emergencies and last chance scenarios.
Guns- We have our “stockpile” of guns but are now investing in crossbows. Guns will be used for defense when enemy already knows where you are at.
Crossbows for hunting.
Gold/Silver- We have gold and silver but only for after the SHTF. When society starts to rebuild we believe there will be a demand for these goods.
But in the thick of SHTF, you can’t eat gold.
Diseases- We bought a surplus of antibiotics for our live stock that can be used for human use (Disclaimer, I’m not a doctor so don’t try it)
These antibiotics are made by the same manufacturer and have the same code as human antibiotics do on the medication.
north east or areas with multiple seasons- we are in the North West and at our location winter snow lasts for a month at best. Not a problem for
us.
Invest in dried foods- We have a year’s supply of dried goods for our family. This is to be used in the first months(target 3 months) of SHTF. We
will then work hard on growing wheat, corn, and vegetable crops, as well as herd conservation and sustainability. (cattle, chickens, pigs)
