I've always been a Jethro Tull fan..not everyone cares for their sound, but I love Ian Anderson , and see him as a genius on the flute.

The lyrics are fantastic in my opinion.

Found something that caught my ear and kind of got hooked on it,silly me.......

I'm making time now...listening to it as I'm typing this..

so relaxing....

wish I could play the piano.

Classical music tells such a story..seems like so many little chapters in one piece...all without words.

about 6 minutes into it...

going into the crescendo now... and now it softens.. it really is a beautiful piece.

That was very enjoyable..might listen to it again .

this whole piece is great,,,, but at 4:00,, enters a part that has been stuck in my head since i first found this song and subsequently played it many times thereafter,,, i whistle it all the time,, its so nice,,,

You haven't hijacked the thread at all..Classical music is beautiful!Classical music covers the gamut of emotions and experiences...I don't know of any other kind of music which has such a diverse range..
I think our emotions and feelings are manipulated by sound and this is why we find classical music so beautiful. It's natural, made from real instruments and real talent, and anybody with a real love for music knows that all music has evolved from the classics.hugs,sugarcookie1

It is still relevant, and it is a great song.
