ufos over isle of wight uk 1978

my dad has told me lots of times how hes seen ufo, but tonight with a few persuasive beers ive got the truth out of him.

it was somewhen during august in 1978. him and his mates were out playing with there cars and they saw 3 lights in the sky in a triangle formation. ive been told they started moving in a circular fashion then lined up and shot up 1 by 1 and disapeared.

has there been any ufo reportings of this area and time ?

any way this is above ventnor my dad and 2 mates saw this go on and before tonite all three have said nothing except they have seen a ufo

its cost me 30 quid to get more info out of my dad lol
