Romney flip flops yet again : I like the labor unions!

Romney reverses course, praises ‘important role’ of labor unions

Hoping to make up lost ground in Michigan, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Tuesday reversed course and praised labor unions.

At a town hall campaign event in Shelby Township, the candidate told supporters that “labor unions play an important role in our society.”

“There are some like the carpenters union that compete on a fair basis and train their members to have greater skills,” Romney noted. “And so, they are an important part of America’s economy.”

The former Massachusetts governor went on to complain that President Barack Obama was “saluting to the union bosses” instead of looking after the workers.

Just last week, the Romney campaign blasted labor unions, saying that “they too often stand as obstacles to growth and fight against the workers they are supposed to serve.”

Romney... is there ANYTHING that you won't do to get votes? I mean, a whore is less of a whore than you. At least a whore admits she's a whore... you just deny what you really are... Admit it Romney, you are a political whore... and a dirty one at that.

Don't get me wrong, I abhor the 2 party system, but I don't think anyone but Obama has a chance this time around. His supporters have the "it takes more than 3 years to fix 8 of ruining the country" excuse (which I agree with to a degree) but it almost feels like the Republicans are sabotaging their own campaigns. That's 2 strikes against them, with the third almost assuredly being the media tearing apart the nominee (still probably Romney).

This is why I support Ron Paul. Romney is a liar. I don't trust him. He'll say whatever he thinks will go over best with whomever he's talking to at the moment. Santorum simply scares me. Obama has proven himself ineffective. That leaves only one alternative.
