as i had though there were no quakes on sunday.

but monday is a new story i think the workers had sunday off.

there are the 3 pics i have been taking in order

this was day 1

this was saturdays pic

and this is mondays pic.

there was no change through sunday.

i have ruled out above ground weapon test as well as below ground testing.
there are no faults in the area so that has been ruled out.

i would like to get as many eyes on that as we can. it just screams foul play to me

These guys will be able to help you ESPECIALLY Puterman if you post this here:

Quake Watch

Hope that helps and hope you get the answers you seek, the Quake guys will be able to tell you yay or nay on whether it's good or bad and if Puterman don't know rest assured he'll dig around his vast resources to inform you in the Quake watch thread.

Here is a more precise location for that cluster.

I have to say that this is not in an area that immediately springs to mind. There have been long on and off series further West at and around Mono Lake before. This is located under Antelope Peak, which is exactly as you stated in your original thread here

Now I know where it is I will see what I can find out about past quake history.

I was looking while you posted!!

Mm, a circular search for a 5 km radius only turns up 1 quake, Very odd.

Year,Month,Day,Time(hhmmss.mm)UTC,Latitude,Longitude,Magnitude,Depth,Catalog

50km produces 170 quakes but not in that area.

KML for Google Earth

I will let the image below speak for itself. This is the results of the KML file.

Bookmarked.
Interesting, this really got my attention. What's the theory on this?
Tunneling in that mountain maybe? Is this near Groom? I just got a new comp & haven't
put GE on yet.

its not to far from it. there is a testing range airport. the thing looks new. im thinking they are tunneling. the reason is the quakes are so small but so close together.and there are no fault lines. if you check out the dots they happen right next to each other.

What exactly goes on at the Tonopah test range? It's near this location & maybe they're having some kind of live fire testing perhaps? New toys maybe? If the Iranians have their nuke goodies in mountain side bunkers the military is working on that scenario maybe?

Just throwing a few things out there.

i was thinking the same thing to but

Even huge amounts of explosive almost never cause even small earthquakes (see previous FAQ), and it would take hundreds and thousands of small earthquakes to equal a large one, even if it could be done. In addition, we wouldn't have any control over the size of the earthquake being created if it worked, since small and large earthquakes all start out in exactly the same way. It's just not physically possible.

earthquake.usgs.gov...

then i though if they were testing any thing they would tell USGS about it so they wont post it. for the simple reason of it's not an earthquake. and for the depth that it is showing us there is no way. the only thing i can think of is the earth is rupturing under that mountain, or explosive can trigger quakes and they are using explosive to dig out the mountain. if you look at the path the quakes are taking its progressing out ward in a cone shape. there are quakes next to each other but haven at the same spot. you can look at the cluster of quakes at the caifornia geothermal plan and how sporatic the quakes are there. it is easy to see the difference
