Those who do not know, Dr. Burzynski claims to have had a cure for cancer for over 30 years which the FDA has prevented him from marketing. He won legal battles with the FDA, who unsucessfully tried to steal his patents and give them to a big Pharm company, after claiming his patents were junk.

I am looking for information on the results of his Phase II trials. I have found some results of his "fraudulent" cure where he has up to a 30% success rate at the 5 year mark, in cancers where previously no patient had ever lived to 5 years.

Response to ANP was monitored by MRIs of the brain. The responses were as follows: complete response, 23%; partial response, 8%; stable disease, 23%; and progressive disease, 46%. Progression-free survivals (PFS) at 1, 2, and 5 years were 31%, 23%, and 8%, respectively. Overall survivals (OS) from diagnosis and from start of treatment at 1, 2, and 5 years were 92% and 54%, 85% and 23%, and 46% and 8%, respectively. The preliminary results of our small study of adults with recurrent mixed gliomas revealed ANP to be very effective in resolving or stabilizing disease in more than 50% of treated patients as well as encouraging PFS and OS with minimal toxicity

I know he had numerous trials testing his treatment on many different forms of cancer, I'm looking for information about the rest of his trials.

I recently updated the wiki page for antineoplaston to include information from Phase II trials taken from this webpage.

How much do you want to bet it's edited out very shortly?

Just checked, my wiki changes showing proof from a government website that the stage II trials were successful has already been edited out.

Awesome prediction there. =)

Anyone not up to date with this story, should really look at the burzinsky doc.

I think it's time we start the national campaign against oncology. It's nothing more than homocidal drugs.

So no one can find data? Few months ago I saw data on a wide range of cancers, now I can only find brain cancers. Just an FYI I consider myself a "denier" if you would, I tend to not agree with most of the conspiracies on here due to lack of evidence. So if you are like me and would not normally be in agreement, check out this work, follow the evidence.

RESULTS: The overall survival at 2 and 5 years was 39% and 22%, respectively, and maximum survival was more than 17 years for a patient with anaplastic astrocytoma and more than 5 years for a patient with glioblastoma. Progression-free survival at 6 months was 39%. Complete response was achieved in 11%, partial response in 11%, stable disease in 39%, and progressive disease in 39% of patients. Antineoplastons were tolerated very well with 1 case of grade 4 toxicity (reversible anemia).

This is why ATS members cause people to smash their heads against the wall. Burzynski claims he has a cure, FDA moves to silence him calling him a quack, ATS says screw that I don't trust the government.

The government finally puts information out showing Burzynski DOES indeed have something, ATS members go SCREW that I don't trust the government.

*Beats head on wall*

Don't you know?

ATS are contrarists.

It's true until people accept it. When people accept it, it's part of a conspiracy.

People like me wonder why others can't simply use rational thought to look at the evidence, weigh it, and then form an opinion. When new evidence comes in, you decide if your opinion needs to be changed.

If the government says water is needed for life I feel like people here on ATS will stop drinking it. Now, back to topic.

I asked the person who keeps changing my wiki edits why, they said one of the sources does not explain their peer review process. I showed them another source that DOES explain their peer review and lists their impact factor. Guy stops responding.
