Thanks! I'll keep you posted with any weird stuff. The green/gray planes are probably
C-130's if they have props on them. They are luxurious planes with excellent
latrines that are used for troop and supply transport. The larger ones that have turbines are either a
C-17 which look like a ride at space camp inside or a
C-5 but I don't think they have too many C-5's. The helicopters were most
likely
UH-60's lovingly known as the Blackhawk which have awesome seatbelts that slick sleeves cannot
escape. It could also have been a smaller
Apache which is a pretty awesome helicopter
that I've never gotten to mess around with sadly. If you ever see the big huge Chinook which has two sets of propellers on top and looks like a slow
moving yacht in the sky, it is anything but that. Chinooks haul serious butt. Recently there should have been some good traffic coming in with the
recent redeployment of a portion of the Army's 3rd Infantry Division about 4 mos back. Usually though you won't be able to tell what aircraft is
used in a troop re/deployment as they use a civilian aircraft unless the flight will remain CONUS.

I've been here a while, I'm in between the two garrisons closer to the Stewart side. I used Sav as my location as its the "metro" for the coastal
area and surrounding but I am more inland (Near Raytheon). I remember the first time I had a flight get delayed at Sav-HH so some jets could get
maneuvered, freaked me out a little cause I figured they'd fly out of HAAF but the Army/AF outsources everything. Hope you're managing to stay warm
this winter! I had to break out the snow chains today.
