If you live in Australia you live under a duoploy regime just like the Americans. Both parties know that the worst thing we can do is make them the opposition. Nothing will ever change if we keep getting fooled by duopolies. The only way to send our politicians a message is to turn our backs on the major parties. The time has never been better to do it. The media will have us believe that it is impossible. It isnt.

There has been no sensible voice in politics since the democrats collapsed. Natasha Stott Despoja was a good politician and the Australian Democrats were a sensible party that looked out for us.The Greens benifited from the demise of the democrats immensely. The problem is that the Greens and Bob Brown are leftist fanatics. I think they are worse than Labor or Liberal in alot of ways.

Bob Katter is for Australia. You can tell that he cares about this country. You can tell the rest of them care more about themselves than they care about the country. Bob Katter is for the people. The rest are for big business. Bob Katter has some fantastic idea's. The rest have the same old tricks.

Bob Katter and the Australia Party will be a force in the next election. I think Australians left or right should get behind him and vote the two major parties into oblivion. They dont represnt us. Katter will.

On looks alone I'd say he looks like the unfriendly and unreasonable grandfather of Crocodile Dundee. Australia's J.R. if you will.

I didn't know Australian elections were coming up. If you're in the same predicament as we are in America, I hope you can get someone that will represent the people and not corporate interests.

Do you have any information on Mr. Katter? Links or videos I can look at?

edit: nvm. In the time it took me to write this post, there's a whole slew of stuff.

I watched about a collective total of less than 10 minutes from those videos before I posted that last post of mine, and did not know about who Bob Katter was before that. But from what I gathered he has some qualities that seem to parallel Ron Paul, so I just through that little gem on the end of my post.

Yeah,should have put some links

Australians all let us rejoice For we are young and free" … well kinda free as long as you don't upset noisy minority green groups and overly controlling governments. Are you sick and tired of being told what to do? States and Territories throughout Australia are increasingly becoming more and more restrictive, to the point they are often referred to as amongst the most litigious in the developed world. Laws exist constantly telling us where we can and can't go, what we can and can't do and when we can and can't do it.

Yeah yeah... well many years ago, Canberra was a peacock, a hawke and a bunch of gallahs. Biggest aviary in Australia..

Now they're letting the katter out of the bag.

either way, I'm still voting for the donkey, since that's the only one that has any merit.

Australia poliTICS, when you know no matter what, you're getting a blood sucking parasite....
