Well this is epic.

What’s the deal with porn and India?

Porn and sex are still taboo in India. It’s not that Indians don’t watch porn, it’s just that they don’t want to talk about it in public nor watch it in public. But three daring ministers from the state of Karnataka have changed that. They have turned watching porn into a social activity.

Two ministers watched porn together in a public place. The third minister supplied the material. In this case the public place just happened to be a State assembly, which brought a national party to its knees and gave Indian media its biggest story in a fortnight.

The icing on the cake is the ministers belonged to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is the party known for its moral policing. Be it being the vigilante on Valentine’s Day or banning television channels on one accidental occasion when they were in power.

As always, it's coming from the ``party of moral policing`` doing the deed... (just like Republicans being anti-gay while a lot of them are closet homosexual)

Politicians... anywhere you go, they are a bunch of hypocrites...

Oh you do find the most interesting stuff!
I saw a reportage on the moral police recently. Something out of the dark ages. Well regardless of how they spin it, other countries have taken notice of how they operated, so maybe this will bring about soe changes? One can only hope.

Yet be so popular. Isn't it, what, like a multimillion dollar industry here in the states?
