so they aren't even allowed to use a condom?

I think they refer to "some forms" of contraception. Since condoms when used correctly prevent the fertilization of the egg, I really doubt they would be contemplated by this legislation.

Other contraception methods, such as the morning after pill, or week after pill, might be.

So they use the law--the government--to control us. Typical Republican religious wingnut hypocrites. What they're doing is ensuring that any man can impregnate any woman at any time, and there's not a damned thing she can do about it. I for one don't want my girls to go through that. I want them to be able to choose when they have children, how many they have, and with what man.

It amounts to sexual slavery.

What are they going to do, outlaw chamomile and pennyroyal next? Those herbs will cause miscarriage and used to be the birth control of choice. Unless you also outlaw condoms, testosterone, and Viagra, this is discrimination on the basis of sex.

Edit: The life begins at conception thing is for biologists to determine, not a bunch of Bible thumpers with too much time on their hands. Religion has no place in that discussion. But for the record, until the first 8 weeks after conception it's an embryo. After that it's a fetus.

By the way, if you haven't been keeping track, the Republicans in Virginia backed down on this due to all the protest and it looks like the ultrasound bill is dead, at least the trans vaginal portion.

This cracks me up. In the Old Days women weren't allowed to do sports or anything physically strenuous - - because they had to "protect the baby maker".

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
