The Powers that be, what are they doing?

Many topics here on ATS mention "TPTB" in one thread or another, often times in a Generic way, not pointing to any singular person or organization. TPTB, an acronym for the powers that be. Whether in government or in the private population, these individuals or groups are defined as those entities pulling the strings. Be they political or corporations. They do exist, regardless the names they are given.

I'v been an Above Top Secret member for some while now, and I believe this is the second thread that I'v authored. We have seen movies recently like 2012 where a calamity decimated the Earth, and in the movie the main character tries to save his family, and in doing so is befriended by the Russian Money Baron, and flown to the location of the Arks which will save humanity. Of course this is all fiction, never the less, it is plausible that such an event could, or might occur for real, and in our life times. Now I'm not privy to any information that would conclude this or reach such a scenario, still it's plausible. We see daily news clips or articles through a plethora of mediums showing the incredibly wealthy spending obscene amounts of money on every conceivable toy or luxury imaginable. Some envy, while others see conspiracies forming, and still others dismiss it not caring.

Rockefeller's and Rothschild's come to mind, Gates and the late Steven Jobs, along with ultra rich in the House of Saud or old money families in Europe. These people have on thing in common, they have all the means to do anything they want. Even influence history or political powers or countries. These and others like them control the world, and often times from an unseen vantage point, but make no mistake, they make the calls. They are comprised of a small number of obscenely wealthy individuals, to whom millions is pocket change, and their ability to finance extraordinary projects like the 'Ark in the movie', (fiction of course). People like this usually have groups of underlings feeding them the most up to the minute news and consequence happenings worldwide, and in that way they maintain their grip, their wealth, their power. Knowledge is power........ you have all heard this, and it is true.

Watching events unfold here on good Ol'Planet Earth, it's apparent that a lot of change is coming and it's coming in previously unimaginable swiftness.

We see headlines of Chem-trails, underground Government facilities, tunnels connecting these facilities, seed banks, vaccine, food, water, self contained bunkers designed to be a fortress for the survival of the species. And not all of us humans are included in these plans unfortunately as we have little to offer, or the wealth to 'buy' our sanctuary spaces. We will be on our own. Were there a need to leave this planet, forget it, we would only be spectators. What about those who could afford the cost, or were scientists or doctors, those sciences necessary to afford success to those able to leave this planet. There would be need for different types of ability, the tops of their fields, those who would be responsible for rebuilding society for the survivors. Suppose there was an extinction event to hit earth, and prior warning............. do you not think TPTB's would not have had foreknowledge or information available to them, hush hush foundations unifying them into a group, the 'Elite', those who would survive.

Would it not be plausible that all these trillions of dollars that the common man has worked to earn, that seem to have vanished, could in reality, have been used to fund such ambitious endeavors? While the world was busy with everything under the sun, all manner of diversions, these Elite, all the while making preparations to evacuate a dying or soon to die planet, avoiding catastrophe.

Recently my interests have included a bit of study in the Unified Field Theory, and youtube has met that need, in the way of various videos and authors. In the course of watching many a video, I came across one that was quite long, as are a few of the better informational videos. A fella by the name of Nassim...and his discussion of a great many related topics, caught my attention. Here is one that 'struck' me into thinking of the plausibility that it might be happening right now, as we speak. I was unable to edit down to the minute that I wished, but if you will go to this video and advance the time line to the minute * 1:09 - 1:12:40 * you will hear what got me thinking. Perhaps plans are secretly being made, survivors chosen, and the Elite buying their continued existence. Maybe Humanity will survive, but just not the way we all might have liked it to.

I hear you, it's freeky. It seems as if most of the puzzle pieces are on the table. I have been thinking about this all my life and slowly watching it come together with increasing speed. They(TPTB) are ready for such a flare, and apparently so is the sun. The ancients told us it would happen and so does our current science. I feel just as you do, and I know it's just a question of when? I believe it will definitely happen in this century. Honestly....i'm expecting it in the next few years.
People I know think I'm crazy, and they go on watching their reality shows and chugging beer. what the hell do we do? enjoy our lives, connect with family and/or friends treat each day as if it was your last. every morning when i leave the house to go to work, i kiss my girlfriend as if it was the last time. that's how close to the wire we are. I really hope I'm wrong and have gone insane or am confused, but there have been few times in the past were i believe something so strongly which does not come to pass.

I suspect there are many families whose names are anything but household recognized. I recall there is one very powerful family in Italy who own and have lived on an island for about 700 years. OLD money!

They are making money.

and making sure that there is no population control so that the numbers of prols keeps increasing because the more prols the more profit.

Yeh, it would be great if the great Armageddon came about, and TPTB got all their plans and people and geniuses and escape devices together and started to leave Earth for greener pastures--and the visiting ETs turned out to be the good guys and blasted 'em out of the sky. I'd laugh all the way to my grave....

What these "elite's" or tptb need to realize is that after the shtf and all is said and done, they will need some of us regular people to rebuild. Can you imagine some of these billionaires getting their hands dirty growing food, or building something. They may save all the smart people, but who is going to do the grunt work?

Perhaps they could use cloning and cybernetics and experiment with technologies that will allow them to control them to an unheard of degree, and use these superhuman drones to do all the heavy lifting?
