Do you agree?

Hello ATS, hope everyones days are going swell. The reason for me starting this thread is to make sure I have Middle East conflict correct. There's 20 new topics on the situation everyday alone, so it gets hard at times to follow. So the way im seeing it, things can only go 1 of 5ish ways:

1)Arms race this spring/summer (Iran, & Saudi Arabia)

2)We tighten sanctions/embargo's on Iran and they use the sleeper cells in the US to attack on US soil. Gives us a reason to strike. False Flag?? Go from the bully, to the hero.

3)Israel/US and/or Saudi Arabia attacks key Nuclear facilities and underground enrichment facilities. Iran/Hezbollah retaliates with Russian and Chinese aid.

4)Iran test its first Nuclear weapon, Saudi Arabia buys nukes from Pakistan. Israel uses Saudi airspace to bomb these sites.

5)Iran gives Nuclear weapons/Dirty Bombs to Hezbollah to strike/level out Israel.

*My personal opinion is that anyday now we will all wake up, and see Israel bombing Iranian facilities.

Please anyone let me know if I am off in any way provided with links. If anyone would like to add an appropriate scenario to the table, I'm all ears and would greatly appreciate it!

From your list 2 and 3 are the most likely possibilities, not counting the retaliation part. Perhaps if it's Israel doing the strikes(as is most likely) then Iran will one way or another retaliate on Israeli soil. Assuming that Iran IS developing nuclear weapons, which we really can't say one way or another, should they manage to prepare them for actual use then it would most likely pacify the region and create a new mini-cold war with the west attempting to cause civil unrest by financing and training opposition and militant groups and tightening sanctions even more in the hopes that the regime is overthrown and the west can then influence who gets in power. -Which is basically what they're trying to do now.

Which we have seen the US do countless times.. Cough Syria cough Libya cough cough. Thank you for the input btw. I just wanted to make sure I do not get confused on these issues.

Do you honestly think Iran is not going to produce a Nuclear weapon? I mean, I saw recently on here Youtube video's from Iran teaching school children how to lob a hand grenade (I admit I dont know the validity of the videos)... I wouldn't be putting it past them one bit though.

Depends on how they see the political situation. If I was Iran I would try to get my hands on nukes ASAP - mutual assured destruction is the only way to make sure nobody attacks you. Without nukes the USSR and NATO would've duked it out within the first decade of the cold war.

Ahh yeah good point. MAD times were living in (pun intended). So who personally do you think is in the wrong here, and who do you think is in the right? I just don't want any of my family hurt from a sleeper cell within the US. I just wish we didnt reach the point where everyone needs nukes to be safe. Why is it not that noone needs nukes to be safe? Did I mention I'm extremely sick of religious fanatics...??!!

1,2 and 5 are the most likely scenarios.

3 and 4 are fictional and only proposed by those who hate America and Israel for whatever crazy reasons.

I'm sorry I don't understand how #4 would be fictional..? Do you have a link or reference to bring forth your golden wisdom? (IMO) Pakistan would most definately not have a problem making money selling them to the Saudi's. Someone will be selling them to Saudi Arabia. Hell I wouldn't put it past Israel. Did you read the Related Story 3 link I provided in my OP.

ETA: I'm not trying to come off as doubtful. That is the point of my thread is to present facts and set my own mind straight from propaganda. But I simply can't just take your word for it. Thanks for the reply by the way
