Athens, Greece (CNN) -- Lawmakers in Greece voted early Monday to approve another round of austerity measures, sought in return for a new eurozone bailout of the debt-stricken country, while protests raged in the streets. As lawmakers debated, police turned tear gas and stun grenades on demonstrators outside Greece's Parliament. Several buildings, including a bank, cafes and a movie theater, in Athens were set ablaze. Twenty-five protesters and 40 officers were injured in the clashes, which occurred throughout the city, police said. Authorities detained at least 30 people.

As they all slowly go crumbling down....Europe is on the out and Spain is next!!

Well, Spain is part of Europe. Europe is not a country. Its like saying south america is going down. brasil will be next.
You better check your knowledge about that.

I' live in Spain I Know what's happening, of course Europe is not a country. I'm saying that little by little each country will slowly drop off. It's so bad already here in Spain, I read the paper this morning and they reckon that this year alone there will be over 50 000 people between 25-35 years old leaving Spain. Things are getting bad now this side.

Actually I think the Euro is like playing a game of roulette!

First of all your at the table, the croupier is spinning very nicely & everyone is doing ok (before the Euro) then they send in the new croupier you know the one that wipes everyone out! there's the Euro!

Greece has been under socialist rule since decades. Historically, if you try to implement conservatism into a system that is used to socialism people go livid because they think they are entitled to handouts.

Ok, good that you made that clear. Otherwise you sounded like you do not know what you talk on the one liner in the OP. If you read it again, one could get that impression.

Regardless, things can and will go worser. Imagine if there is a power shortage or worser, a CME with potential like that in Canada more than a century ago. Add this to the current economic situation and you get a true SHTF.

So everyone should be prepared in regards of food and water. Because when things tighten up with Iran in that gulf, speaking of war, surley there will be zero oil transports in that time.

No oil, no fuel, no food in your supermarket. I dont want to fearmonger but if you think about all the current situations all over the globe, more bankrupt countries and a additional oil shortage would be a mess.
