They were war crimes, and should have been treated as such. Japan was already defeated by the Allied Forces.

They should be treated as war crimes as America mass murdered alot of innocent civilians, men, women and children. I said that America didn't do much in the Pacific besides the casual Island campaign.

And apparently he hadn't heard of Guadalcanal and the other battles of the Solomon Islands.

The Solomon Islands, over there on the map near Australia where the Japanese amassed to begin their invasion of Australia.

Just think, if it wasn't for our Marines, Australians would be eating Sushi right now.

Have you tried looking at some sources? The japanese had plans to invade Australia yes, however, were only going to do so if New Guinea was a pushover. They underestimated the Australian troops in New Guinea and thus were defeated, that's why there was no invasion.

Japan, if succesful in New Guinea was going to invade Australia in three spots, a couple of KM's East of darwin, in between Townsville and Brisbane, and just south of Sydney, that way, they could cut off the three important cities.
