It's an exclusive “WND/WENZEL POLLS” sensation !
They say the main reason for Obama's "popularity" among Republicans is the problem of the Republican choices !!
The poll was conducted by Wenzel Strategies from Feb 1st thru the 3rd.
Obama has also been on the recent campaign trail longer than any of the popular opponents.

You do not appear to be an Obama troll but polls fall into the category, It's not the figures that lie, but the liars that figure."

Heck, these days Obama is closer to a republican than a democrat, it seems. Or, at least what republicans used to be before they went far, far right, beyond the Tea Party even.
Just my $.02.

Thanks.
Of course the questions are always crafted to produce specific results.
But at the same time, what kind of questions would actually be "neutral" ?
Eighty-three percent of those asked in the Washington Post/ABC News survey said they backed Obama's use of unmanned drone aircraft against terror suspects, which have caused disquiet among some civil liberties groups.
Seventy-eight percent of those asked approved of Obama's plans to draw down troops in Afghanistan
Voters were also asked whether they approved of the decision to keep the Guantanamo Bay war on terror detention facility in Cuba open and 70 percent approved.
The poll showed that Obama led Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, by 56 percent to 36 percent when respondents were asked who they trusted to combat terrorism.
Respondents also trusted him more on international affairs by a 56 to 37 percent margin.
In previously released findings, the poll found that 50 percent of Americans approved of Obama's job performance the most since early last year.

Both Romney and Gingrich have enormous negatives -- despite their successes and their supporters, it turns out that for each of them more Republicans don't want him than want him. Either way, whoever gets the Republican nomination will be leading only a part of the Party; a large segment, maybe a majority of Republicans, will be unenthused - perhaps to the point of voting instead for a Third Party.
On the other hand, among Democrats, Obama has far fewer negativities; at least 80% of the Dems are enthusiastic about him.
It's a recipe for a second term for Obama.
