Recent landing at Delamar Dry Lake - No shortage of dust here!

Delarmar Dry Lake has a bit of history in the old X-15 program, plus it was a backup landing site for Groom Lake aircraft. . But apparently Nellis used it during the JEFX 2010.

This youtube video shows a C130 and a AT-6 using the lake bed. The AT-6 is the T-6 trainer with weapons.

How exactly this test fits in with JEFX, which is a geeky electronics exercise, is not clear to me. And who knew Nellis had their own youtube channel.
