Rare Martian meteorite given to science

The Natural History Museum in London has acquired a 1kg piece of the Tissint rock thanks to an anonymous benefactor. It was seen to land in Morocco last July and retrieved quickly, resulting in minimal contamination with Earth.

The potential results of the tests will be huge, it can give a clear indicator whether or not at anytime throughout history, life did or did not exist on Mars. search. Is this an exciting prospect or not? Do you think we will learn anything new from the tests or will it all be stuff we already knew?

It's cool they got it but unfortunately even if they find that yes it is inhabited we will never know, the govt can't afford for that to get out, they will let everyone get their hopes up then swoop in take over and give the usual statement that nothing was found. I mean really if someone proves there is other life out there then the population is instantly going to want to know how the govt didn't know after trillions of dollars in tax payer cash so it wld be great but I doubt it will ever happen.

This life existed investigation is a trick from the liars of science who avoid the obvious
reasoning of how a rock from Mars ever got lose in the first place.
Deny Velikovsky and keep us ignorant on the recorded history of the Mars orbit.
Why don't they go to the Arabian desert crossed by the Brit Lawrence of Arabia
that was littered with miles and miles of rocks from Mars or Venus according to
Velikovsky to look for life. They are not looking for life just looking to show how
unimportant they are but get headlines or badges or trophies.
