SCIENTISTS are investigating a bizarre white cobweb found on nuclear waste - amid fears it could have been made by a 'MUTANT' SPIDER.

Interesting story I found and haven't seen it on ATS yet so I thought that I should share this with everyone here and interesting to see people's views on this

The question is - where is the spider?
How big is it and what does it look like.

Well, you better tell Peter Parker to stay away.

Mutant Spiders! Yikes.

I'm scared to death of regular spiders.

It already mutated... INTO A MAN!!!

See if anyone else can spot em.

btw, I better get credit for finding a hoax in a hoax magazine!

look next to the rod being pulled.. There appears to be a guy standing facing the rod being pulled up. (one rod to the left)

Grab the shoulder arms, have plenty of spare ammo and get ready to move!

Later or sooner reality is going to prove stranger than fiction! Somehow a mutation will allow spiders the size of VW Bugs (no pun intended), giving their book lungs a boost that allows them to become large w/o higher O2 saturation.

I never heard of the "mutant spider" angle before. The "fungi" explaination seems much more logical to me.
