N. Korea developing unmanned attack aircraft from U.S. drones: source

SEOUL, Feb. 5 (Yonhap) -- North Korea is developing unmanned attack aircraft using U.S. target drones purchased from the Middle East, a military source in Seoul said Sunday, indicating the aircraft will likely target the South.

"North Korea recently bought several U.S. MQM-107D Streakers from a Middle Eastern nation that appears to be Syria, and is developing unmanned attack aircraft based on them," the source said on condition of anonymity.

You have to expect some "blow back" after you arm nations who have no issues with killing their own people and who are considered "enemies" to your ally's in the region. I guess same with Russia arming Iran with Nuclear know-how and equipment.

The MQM-107 Streaker is a resusable, turbojet powered, target towing drone primarily used by the United States Army and the United States Air Force for testing and training. The US Army uses the drone for testing various Surface-to-air missile systems such as the FIM-92 Stinger and the MIM-104 Patriot. The USAF uses them in practice engagements for their Air-to-air missiles like the AIM-9 Sidewinder and the AIM-120 AMRAAM.[3]

North Korea isnt a threat anymore. Total slaves to China and China is not going to let them invade the South. Im sure if they did China would have no problem letting NATO spill its youths blood in exchange for inheriting some new territory. China wants a Communist country bordering its nation so it would never give the DPRK a green light to attack anything.

I have been told Korea is a threat...and any attacks are likely to come from them.

They have to be kidding. The kid in North Korea has just gone around the bend and become delusional. At least Iran has a private playground when it comes to high tech toys. The only other people in that neighborhood are ones WE gave the technology to. Here though??

Umm... Okay, this will be hilariously funny to watch. The very BEST minds of North Korea will come up with weapons and drones like this in the future so a High School Science team in Tokyo or Seoul can best them over a weekend.

I suppose everyone needs a stick to measure success by. The DPRK can supply the bottom range of that stick for comparison on what we don't want to do.
