I am a big fan of firearms, from both a design and function standpoint. I personally feel we are living in a golden age of firearms. The equipment and
accessories coming out now utilize materials, purpose and testing to produce some amazing products.
In the last 4 years, the firearms market has exploded. Each year has produced record sales in the US market, despite an otherwise poor economy. Some
of the designs coming out now have done wonders to provide some of the function of National Firearms Act (NFA) title II weapons without the
classification of a NFA weapon. This would include the Slide Fire Stock and KSG.
I have seen a lot of really good firearm ideas come out but their designs would limit their potential market to military, LE, or NFA tax. Some of
these designs would be highly useful and desirable for home defense.
It would seems good financial sense not to stifle or restrict a market that is doing so well. Which brings me back to the NFA. Now, I am not a fan of
any restriction or regulation on firearms from a 2nd Amendment or freedom standpoint. The only reason I can see to have the NFA restrictions in place,
are for tax or control purposes. While I am quite aware the most in congress are content to keep control over the citizens, there are some who support
gun rights, but they are not trying to repeal or amend gun laws that currently restrict the people.
I guess this post is mainly to vent my frustration with the ever growing loss of freedom in the US. However, I am also trying to better understand for
what, if any, reason pro-gun politicians aren't trying to take on this issue?
If the weapons or devices were so dangerous they could not be purchased by civilians, they would not have the option via the tax stamp.
I'm interested in thoughts and opinions on the matter.

NFA firearms needs to be revised and updated machine gun registry needs to open up a bit....
I am in the process off getting my first suppressor silencer co Osprey .40
and I resisted my 11 inch noveske as an SBR..
Question for the nay sayers...where is a crime that has been committed by a registered machine gun or registered aow/sbr/sbs?
And let's not forget the almost extinct gun culture in America.
If the first part of this video puts the viewer to sleep,
they they should stay away from guns,
on the grounds that they require
too much stimulation to
pay attention.
think the ksg 12 gauge does that due to the bullpup design and from the look of it his hand is on the pump REAL close to the barrel so i think its
either the force of the recoil force-cocking the shot gun almost(by blowing his hand backwards with the blast)or has some other defect they haven't
worked out and or operator not being quite used toit yet(its a new gun after all)either way 14+1 in a 12 gauge with no revolving cylinder, drum mag
feature(dont think it takes one....) and the fact you can switch between tubes MIGHT (they will ban it for sure)make it cali legal for a bit but as
the only ones ive seen on gunsamerica.com they retail for about 1200(so AR price range) once they get the kinks out and come out with accessories its
gonna be a beast
any one pre order the ksg? i thought about it but was tapped out for cash when i had the chance but i wanna hear from some people before i go out and
buy one
The KSG is an easy and a very nice piece. The gunshop I work for part time has one and it handles very nicely!
The first one thousand were ordered by LEO departments and from what I have heard the LAPD has the first 250 that came out to replace their aging
cruiser shotguns! THis has not been confirmed by KelTec though! They are at the absolute minimum length for a non-NFA firearm and very light with a
full load in the magazine. I haven't fired it with slugs but buckshot works great and all other types of shot work fine!

thanks for the info i guess that means that cops roughly doubled there amount of fire power(in rounds loaded) and they will probaly make use of the
dual tubes to load less then lethal and specialty rounds seperate from buckshot and slugs
