I am curious!

Have a friend that went through some major surgeries but does not remember having been dead with all the blood being drained out of the body during those surgeries. So here's the question.
Have any of you been dead or had a near death experience, if so what do you remember of it and was it a positive or negative experience.
I am on the fence as to whether there is anything after death, hope you all can convine me otherwise!
