Looks like they contaminated the sample!!!!!

the initial water released from the lake was contaminated by drilling fluid.

This is not a thread to discuss or comment on the topic ,but just a place to post the latest updates. If possible can a MOD delete the posts listed above that have no links to additional information about Vostok. Thanks

The Russian research vessel Akademik Fyodorov has arrived at St.Petersburg port with samples from subglacial Lake Vostok in Antarctica. Experts from the Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute say that all the artifacts from Antarctica will be delivered to the Institute’s laboratory for a thorough examination on Thursday.
