The Milky Way is just so clear, I've never witnessed the Auroras in the south, but in Alaska there awesome.
Is it because it is in the south the Galaxy is so clear, up north I never see it like that with the naked eye.

That was amazing! I cannot remember the last time I have seen the Milky way that clear and such redness in an aurora. Thanks for posting it!
