Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent), Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215.
Overall, Obama averaged 44% job approval in his third year in office, down from 47% in his second year. His approval rating declined from 2010 to 2011 in most states, with Wyoming, Connecticut, and Maine showing a marginal increase, and Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Jersey, Arizona, West Virginia, Michigan, and Georgia showing declines of less than a full percentage point. The greatest declines were in Hawaii, South Dakota, Nebraska, and New Mexico

You know...you see this as a bad thing.
I see this as Obama having a 215 Electoral vote head start.
Now he can focus heavily on 3-4 states to get to 270. In reality, he will focuse on about 10-15 states to pick up the 3-4 he needs.
I predict he will campaign the hardest in PA, OH, VA, and FL.

When are people going to realize that these numbers mean nothing?
Voting means nothing as well.
It does not matter what people say anymore and hasn't for quite a while. The craziest thing the US political system has done is convince it's people they are still voting for a new president.
The person who will become president will be whoever the richest people decide seeing they own all of the media outlets.
Stop believing the media's crazy story and start taking your government back.
