Hello everyone! Finally got my twentieth post in and figured I'd dive right into my introduction thread. First of all, I would like to thank Mr.
Gray and crew for developing and maintaining this great community and hotspot where truth has a chance to flourish. I would also like to pay my
respect to all of the members, for without your voices (or rather keystrokes) most alternative news and ideas would remain hidden to me.
I am a 24 year old male, US citizen. I have an unused BS in mechanical engineering, as I prefer to work in trades and services that benefit regular
people, plus I like skilled/physical labor. I say it's unused, but really I use it everyday in that it allows me to see things from a broader
perspective relative to what I had coming out of high school. I could elaborate on that, but I'll spare you.
I am a huge music fan. I've listened to (and to some extent played) most of the main music genres over my lifetime, but Metal has become my runaway
favorite. I have a few years under my belt dabbling in saxophone, drums, and bass, but my instrument of choice is guitar (can't even play sax
anymore, it's been so long :lol
. I've also lost the ability, as well as need, to read sheet music...I learn and create songs by ear. I have
jammed with a few "bands" locally, but wouldn't consider myself ever being a member of a band. All of my original music is instrumental, usually
2-3 guitar parts and drums. [I would share some samples if I knew a good way to do so. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.]
As with music, sports have also been a big part of my life. Ski racing and golf we're the only two that stood the test of time (though I don't ski
race anymore, just recreational skiing now). I've also become a pretty big hockey fan over the last 5+ years...anytime the Bruins are playing you
can bet I'm watching.
Well, that's the cliff-notes version of who I am. The only other thing I would add is that I'm addicted to information/knowledge, other people's
perspectives, and love to exercise my noggin. This site satisfies that addiction pretty well.
Looking forward to experiencing what the future
holds in store for us, and hearing it first on ATS!
Peace.
