Rochester, Minnesota UFO - January 30, 2012

This object has been appearing in the sky at around 6:30pm CST and disappearing at around 7:30pm CST. *Note* This video was sped up by 8x.

A little backround on this.

Every night when I go on break to have a smoke I look at the sky and the stars.
This past week iv noticed that the brightest of stars was abnormally low in the sky and so iv been monitering it while on my breaks this past week.
Every night I would watch it jitter around in the sky or dim the light and be brighter again. And every night around 7:30pm CST it would vanish from the sky. It facinated me so I decided to film tonight.

Yes that is the video. Youtube gave me a bogus link because I just uploaded id. If your refering to the object at the bottom of the screen thats just a street light.

This OP is probably a government agent because this is nothing but computer images, I am offended sorry but even kids should be smarter, so what does that leave us to? Kids that are hateful.

I took the 32 minute video from my video camera, uploaded to windows movie maker, inhanced the speed by 8x so u wouldnt be watching a tv show and from there I uploaded it to youtube.

I'm going to go with Venus. Is it in the west-southwest?

Seems to be Venus, setting at about that time in the western sky.
She's been very bright lately.

Hi fellow Minnesotan!

I am no vid expert, but can say I have seen strange things in MN's skies before.
I used to stand out in the back of where I worked at night in the winter and watch the stars a lot. There was always one star that I would see that pulsated a little bit and I swore it moved.
I think it was just the night sky messing with my head head though.
However, when I was camping one year I did see a UFO, so they are out there in the nights sky in MN.
Will have to hear other people's opinions.

I think it might be. It was the brightest thing in the sky thats what got me to start recording. And as I watched the video its fall path seemed to be just as a planet.

Download vid, place pencil mark on screen where light is, press play, click red youtube time line at bottom of screen in half inch segments, notice light (planet) move consistantlt in a south east direction (as viewed on screen)..............tad darrrrrrrrr PLANET.......probably Venus as Phage said.

Yeah I have too seen some things in the MN skies but never really seen anything I could deem all that strange. This is most def Venus...See it every night.

At one time UFOs were the marvel of the world. Now they are a storybook theme.
