This is such a perfect example of Big Brother and how our government has gotten SO out of control it seems there is no turning back.

Some scientists and medical doctors (whistle blowers) went before Congress to warn legislators that the FDA was approving faulty medical devices that they believed had unacceptable risks. Of course the FDA isn't looking out for our safety, as we all know. Instead of going along with the FDA, they went before Congress and warned them.

So, what did the FDA do? They spied on the scientist's personal e-mails---some of which included their emails to Congress.

The Food and Drug Administration secretly monitored the personal e-mail of a group of its own scientists and doctors. The surveillance — detailed in e-mails and memos unearthed by six of the scientists and doctors, who filed a lawsuit against the FDA in U.S. District Court in Washington last week — took place over two years as the plaintiffs accessed their personal Gmail accounts from government computers.

Of course, they were fired by the FDA based on the information they had stolen from their emails.
