Fair enough mate, the reason the object is split is the design of the UFO, compared to the South American UFO, you can see what I mean. I don't buy your theory, you've tried debunking it from the get-go, that's fine Additionally the pilot said the object flew over them, before appearing to the side of them, at speed.

Can you show me a picture of the design? And then explain how this made the image appear as it does

Ive never heard of motion blur causing parts of the image to separate....care to explain?

F2 in this picture, like a ferris wheel with a chunk removed:

Incredible photo, thanks for sharing this.
Sounds like a fun but frightening experience.

Potentially very interesting photo. But to take it any further we'd need an expert analysis based on the original colour slide (Kodachrome?)

Interesting to compare with this photo and visualization from a 2008 witness in Murrieta, Ca

The chamfered corners and other features match quite well in both cases.

Many thanks OP.

Nice spot and interesting pics, definite similarity in the edges of these UFOs.

In my opinion, it's kind of an interesting story, and the photo associated with it is a typical, useless UFO photo. Hardly the "best" of anything.

Besides, when you have "rays" coming from something, like the rays of the sun, if you trace them back to the focal point, shouldn't there be something there? Like the sun, maybe? That's the way it usually works.

Also, close airplane wing in focus, distant ground in focus, yet something between them not in focus? Hmmm...

LOL the UFO is that close and it's STILL blurry

This "UFO" pic is nothing more than a screenshot of the windows XP screensaver called '3D text box' where the words fly around the screen and such. The 3D text in this case is captured while rotating on its side...

It's a blurry straight bar, that is far from being the best UFO pic yet. Hou wanna see some VERY interesting images of UFO's? Go see The Urzi Case on youtube, there you will see the most striking clear metallic objects ( and others ) flying around this guy's house and he's been videotaping them ever since.

Anyhow, not disclaiming the authenticity of the pic, just saying it is really not the best UFO pic I've seen to date.

Peace my brother keep spreading the truth and spread the Love

Is that not the guy who puts objects on his roof window and claims they are ufo's some people are very easy to convince then (or fool)

Nice, can you post the original picture?

Additionally, is there anything more you remember from the incident that you haven't already mentioned?

Haven't heard from you yet.
Are you still there?
We really would like to hear what you have to say about this sighting and, additionnally, if you could provide us with the original photo.
Thanks

It's a shame he hasn't returned, then again, what more can you say? "It's genuine, it happened, end of story".

**cough** **cough** BS **cough** **cough**

Had plenty of people claim to be someone they are not. Im sure in time, when admin ask you to verify your claims we will see yet another deleted account.

I bet your IP either matches with the OP's. or a believer in this thread.

David,

Good to have you on this forum.

Did you receive Kandinsky's letter, that he mentioned in his earler post on this thread?

He is a very capable researcher and it would be good to have your responses to the points he raised before further analysis of your remarkable picture.

Cheers.

There probably really isn't much more to say about the photo itself, but there might be some small detail about taking the photo, what happened before and after, stuff like that, that might provide a bit more insight.

But even accepting that the photo itself is legitimate and is an accurate representation of what was seen, it really doesn't solve any mysteries or answer any questions. Some "object" in the sky? That happens frequently. What is it, and where does it come from? Not even the witness could really know for sure.

So it's just another odd thing for the files.

I just read about this encounter and it is fascinating. It hasn't been debunked and there doesn't seem to be any explanation other than what the 2 pilots say they saw. I think also that this was somehow caught on radar.

"This speck suddenly grew extremely quickly until we saw this huge shadow go over the top of us," he recounted. "But the most amazing thing about it was there was no noise and absolutely no movement or turbulence at all. We looked at each other, saying, 'What the hell was that?'" At that point, both pilots felt that something was in the air off the port (left) side of their plane, but they couldn't see anything there. They agreed that they were able to sense something moving outside. Hastings walked to the back of the plane, grabbed his camera and returned to the cockpit where he snapped two pictures out the window. All he was able to see in the camera viewfinder was the left wing of the plane and the ground below. It was only after they returned to San Francisco and got the pictures developed that they knew they'd encountered something extraordinary. "One picture showed what we expected to see -- the aircraft wing and the ground," said Hastings. "But in the second one, there was this [cigar-shaped] thing. www.huffingtonpost.com...

Amazing! Has this changed your thoughts about religion or anything drastic like that? Did you already believe UFO's or extraterrestrial vehicles existed? Are you certain this one was not from THIS planet? Whether you respond or not...simply an amazing encounter! Good and quick thinking to take the picture.
