Police in Oakland, California, have used tear-gas and flash-grenades as a 2,000-strong Occupy Oakland march turned violent, with some protesters claiming that rubber bullets were also fired into the crowd. At least 300 people were arrested.

“The City of Oakland welcomes peaceful forms of assembly and freedom of speech, but acts of violence, property destruction and overnight lodging will not be tolerated,” the press release by city officials stated. “The Oakland Police Department is also committed to facilitating peaceful forms of expression while protecting personal safety and property through ethical and constitutional policing.”

These ppl are burning american flags, breaking and entering and vandalizing city property. I say take them all down. We are a nation of laws. We have the right to protest peacefully not destroy public property. They get what they deserve. On a side note, didn't Soros say that the occupy movement was going to turn violent.

actually , the people who riot over hockey are just as dumb as some of these OWS "peaceful protestors " .

i'll protest when there is something meaningful to protest about , i've yet to see that with OWS. I'm actually planning on rallying up my own protests , with organization , clear goals , petitions , and training .

not just give some kids a end the fed sticker , a gas mask , and instructions to instigate the police to attack for a great photo op.

It might even be a model for these kids to learn off of , but i do suspect there agenda's vary greatly amongest each other .

no need to get mad , there is a proper way to do things , if you wanna be an animal and destroy things i know plenty of anarchy parties.
