Unfortunatly, its happening again. Hopefully Jeanee doesn't turn mean, or else Flordia could be in for another pounding. I really don't know how much more of this Flordia can take, hurricane after hurricane

Please visit the link provided for the complete story.

This one is expected to become a hurricane, and it is expected to turn to Flordia mid next week.

Not much on the news sites right now, I'll update as soon as I find information.

It is strengthening very quickly. It was only a disturbance either yesterday or the night before last. This is very odd to say the least. Hurricane season has not even peaked yet, and does not end until the end of November...

Hopefully it will turn before it reaches the coast, like hurricane Alex did...

Sheesh!!

My poor dad... he's there in Florida, and he's dealing with my mother's death two months ago (they were married 57 years.) He's got a lot on his mind right now, and the frequent hurricanes haven't helped.

Makes you feel like there's a big "Kick Me" target on the state, doesn't it?

Sorry to hear about you Dad Byrd that has got to be horrible. I will keep him in my thoughts.

If it makes you feel any better some of the local meterologists where I live say they doubt Jean will make landfall.

It seems like Florida is the unlucky target this year for Hurricanes. I was on vacation in Florida when Charlie passed through but it was weakened then. I only hope that Jeanne changes it's course.

I don't know why you guys in Florida think every storm is heading your way. The projected path looks more like South Carolina again to me. I suppose if it doesn't go out to sea it could even go towards Charleston. I only mention that because my brother-in-law was interviewing in Sarasota just 1 week before Charley came and now he is likely to interview in Charleston. He's got an excellent track record so far it sounds like.
