Sucks to be them, but Iran is the one that will be hurt the most due to sanctions.
Anyone wonder where Iran gets their food from? I don't remember seeing too many vast fields of grain and wheat growing. Groves of fruit trees. Herds of cattle and sheep (almost said pigs!).
They can't eat oil, and I'm certain they can't produce enough food on their own for their citizens. Unless they decide to go the ol' Soylent Green route.

Benefiting from 123,580 square kilometers of land suitable for agriculture, the agricultural sector is one of the major contributors to Iran's economy. It accounts for almost 13% of Iran's GDP, 20% of the employed population, 23% of non-oil exports, 82% of domestically consumed foodstuffs and 90% of raw materials used in the food processing industry.
Though the country provides about 90% of the total agri-food products, still Iran is a large importer of agricultural products, in addition to the technology and equipment required for this sector. The main products imported, related to this sector activity, include refined sugar, rice, soybean, sunflower oil, corn, palm oil, barley, processed food, fish, animal feed, additives, fertilizers and fertilizer raw materials and agricultural equipment.

Yes I wonder. Would you please explain these things to me?

Yes, he does. But why would Israel have to fly over US airspace to get to Iran? The last time I checked, Israel can fly over Jordanian and Iraqi airspace to get to Iran. Exactly which of part of that airspace is owned by the US?

maybe it's not owned but it is controlled.
Did you not watch the video provided? He was talking about American fighters over Iraq "confronting" Israeli bombers.

You really believe that?
Because we've actually gone over that at my school. We first looked at the mainstream media's version of how horrible these countries' situations were and how they desperately needed to be bailed out... and then we looked at the more exclusive reports without all of the rhetoric. Turns out that the situations were not nearly as bad as described. Turns out that the whole point of the propaganda campaign was to force the state to cut its own assets in these countries, so other EU countries could buy these assets up.
Why do you think the Greeks were rioting non-stop against austerity? You think they were begging for help from other countries?

I know that. But since both Jordan and Iraq are sovereign states and the US officially no longer occupies Iraq, no one can blame the US for "permitting" Israel to use its airspace...

Actually, Iraqi airspace is owned by Iraq. The US doesn't have anything to do with it and has to ask for permission for flights into and out of Iraq.
