A Dream, Or a Message?

I had a dream a little over 2 years ago, which has recently begun to bother me. I'll attempt to describe it in as much detail as I can - it seems to me that maybe someone else has seen something similar, and could help me to understand it? I posted about this quite a while ago on a dream forum, but the post no longer exists there, so I'll just paste what I have written in my dream journal and edit it for clarity.

I dreamt I was traveling through some desert on a highway on a dull cloudy evening. I felt like I was traveling east on this highway, in (if I remember correctly) a green compact car, like a ford festiva or something. I looked out my window, to the north side of the highway, and I saw a flying pyramid far in the distance. It was golden and VERY large, but in the shape of a Mayan pyramid (all square at the top and stuff). I then got into the city I was going to, and the pyramid had landed and transformed, after which transformation it had a crystal capstone, emmanating a bright light. But not straight up like the Luxor casino - no, it was going out in all directions, like a light bulb with no reflector to aim the light in any particular direction. At this point the pyramid was in the Egyptian style, with a point and all, and that capstone. Also, it was golden looking below the capstone, and the "bricks" or "panels" were odd-shaped, kind of like the Tetris 's' shape turned upright and then skewed, and they were interlinked in a way that suggested an ability to transform, but no wide seams were evident. There were VERY large, black symbols running down the sides of the pyramid in 2 rows - I can't remember them clearly though. The writing was a language which, so far as I know, I've never seen before in my waking life, and I have been unable to find anything comparable in my searches.

I felt a very strong feeling conveyed to me that this whole dream was about something to come. I also remember, after looking at the pyramid, thinking "they've finally arrived. I KNEW that (the location where the pyramid landed) would be their seat of power." I don't know where the location was, except that the pyramid landed near another like it. I also don't know who "they" was - although I have a feeling it may have something to do with my personal beliefs about the creation and/or placement of the human species on this planet.

And I remember a strong sense of foreboding, as if I knew something terrible was about to happen in the very near future. I woke up from this dream extremely tired - something that happens very rarely, and only when I have a dream of this nature, i.e. one that seems to be intentionally conveying a message, or one in which I have conscious control of my actions within the dream. I also slept during this dream quite a bit later than I usually sleep.

Imagine one of the structures in the foreground, but instead it's fully a pyramid, rather than more of an obelisk as this one is. It's golden, with a capstone emitting light, like the one in the picture sort of, but brighter. The writing down the sides is black, and in two columns rather than one, but I don't remember whether it was on two opposite sides of the pyramid or all four. The writing was a lot of straight lines and angles, somewhat similar to germanic runes, but decidedly different, and combined in a different manner for the completion of the entire message. I'd recognize it if I saw it on paper, but I can't find anything that really looks similar anywhere, not even in the languages of scifi shows/movies I've watched - this seeming lack of origin in my waking life indicates to me that this likely wasn't something from my own thoughts/memories, but rather a message given to me by someone else.

Has anyone had a similar dream/vision/etc. or have any idea what this might mean? It seemed extremely important, and it's been driving me nuts because I can't remember the writing clearly enough to be able to reproduce it on paper.

Do you have an interest in Pyramids and star-gates because of this dream or was your interest in these things already there when the dream occurred?

I came back here after an absence because of a dream I had 2 nights ago. You said yours was 2years ago.

2 nights ago I was inside a pyramid. I was being shown something. It ended up with a great light inside it. The light conveyed a great revalation to me.
When the light hit me it was an unbelieveable experience. No words to describe it.

I left the pyramid a little upset. People were asking me what was wrong. I told them that it was because I had been wrong all along. Even though I was upset, I was also greatly relieved. Even though I had been shown that everything I thought was infact wrong I was so happy to finally see the truth. I was sad and happy all at once. Very strange.
Dreams have been nuts lately and many people I know are also expierencing this, however this one was completly off the scale.

I only had something like this happen once before a couple of years ago but it was completely different. A totally different revalation.

I had a cursory interest at the time - my interest didn't really pick up until a friend gave me a copy of "Chariots of the Gods", I believe it was the summer after I had that dream (the dream was approximately august-september 2009 I think - the date I posted about it was 12.29.2009, but that was months after the actual dream). From that point on I have found the ancient world more and more fascinating the more I read about it.
This dream seemed pretty important, but I found myself occupied with other things for quite a while, until I ran across that post again months later, and after I had read that book. I looked around a bit then, and then forgot about it again until now. For the past week or so it's really been nagging at me - I really hope I can figure out what it's all about.

I had a strange thing happen regarding this topic and sleep. It happened around five years ago. I was in the early stages of waking up and had a very quick slideshow run through my mind. It was like a dream, but it was more than that. Each picture flashed just long enough for me to recognise what it was. They were pictures of pyramids and strange writings, like hieroglyphics. I saw maybe ten pictures revolving around ancient Egyptian images and then I heard a voice, like a warning. It said, "It's all evil."

I never knew what to make of it, but since that time I have taken anything with an eye of Ra or pyramid seriously. I think there is a deep mystery there and it will all be made known soon. I am suspicious of it because of the warning message I got.

I have gone deep into the rabbit hole with this stuff and I would take your dream seriously if I were you.

Does anyone know of a comprenensive compendium of linguistic samples I could look at? It'd have to cover all known languages past and present - maybe I'm missing a similarity somewhere, but what I saw seems to be either an obscure branch that deviates quite a bit from its roots, or an isolate, as I've seen nothing like it anywhere else. Another helpful item might be a compendium of science fiction written languages - it's possible that my mind grabbed something from a movie or show I saw years ago and now I just don't remember it.

That'd be neat, but it doesn't help so much at the moment - and probably won't in the future, knowing the state of archaeology in general. If anything that could possibly prove that accepted history is false, it'll be snapped up quickly and hidden away, as always. Very interesting though. And it's covered in dirt, grown over for quite some time it seems, so maybe it hasn't yet been looted - maybe we'll get lucky and actually get to see what's inside before it's hidden away!
You know, that could be the other structure I mentioned - it's kinda isolated, no other pyramids nearby, like in my dream. But there was a modern city built around it in my dream - maybe this is a distant future event? It kind of had the feel of Las Vegas as far as the surrounding architecture, but it was different, and I don't think the other structure was the Luxor.

I've been looking through images of crop circles, hoping there'd be something in there. The closest I can find are the Milk Hill and Alton Priors June 2009 crop designs - the writing in my dream had some similar elements, but it wasn't identical.




The writing looked like the first little bit closest to the leftmost "emitter" in this first image.




It was pretty similar to parts of this second image, particularly the leftmost line of the center stream of characters.

I wasn't really into crop circles or anything like that at the time, and was still opposed to the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence, and so I'm sure I hadn't seen either of those or any similar images before I had this dream - in fact, I didn't really start looking at this stuff until midway through the next year.

Your interpretation of this dream means that very soon and I mean soon, the God and creator of both heaven and earth, and His Son, shall come to dwell on the land.
That what you saw, the pyramid represents His kingdom and the Capstone of clear crystal that is illuminating light, is Zion, where the souls of the dead in Christ shall assemble, during the great tribulation!

Note: Please be careful with the governments deceptive plans for they too believe in pyramids, but not the love of God and of His Christ, for they worship evil and Satan, etc.

I respect that you believe this, but please don't use my thread to preach your beliefs. These symbols were never used in any writings upon which christianity is based, not even the ones that were left out by the Council of Nicea, and thus you have no existing basis for your statement, other than your beliefs. I'm looking for evidence that can be verified without abstraction, i.e. a sample of the writing I describe and the origin (and possibly translation) of said writing, mention of such events or structures in some writing, either past or present, or anything else of that sort. I don't like thread hijacking, especially when it is used to spread a religious message in a nonreligious thread. Please preach elsewhere.
If you have some objective piece of evidence, like what I described above, though, please, by all means, post it.

These beliefs are truth and in no way do I represent religion, because I am against all religions of the children of men!
What I have written here is based on faith and in fact, of things to befall all man, for rejecting this truth as you personally did and many people will do and are doing so now even till this day!

People would rather hear and listen to a lie than to hear the truth, but I am sorry and something is about to happen to us all because of this ignorance and disbelieve amongst the people!

sure, it's in this section. But I'm looking for clear answers, not vague preaching from an abstract of christianity. I'm looking for specifics - for instance, I know many people have been abducted, or had encounters with extraterrestrials, and I was hoping someone had seen the sort of writing I described, and could maybe give me more information about the species that uses it. Maybe someone's seen a ship like the one I described. Maybe someone understands the language, and could translate for me if I'm able to recover the actual writing itself during a hypnosis session or something.
I don't want anyone's interpretation - I want hard facts. Things like "I've seen that writing before, and here's who uses it" or "I know that kind of ship! This civilization uses it" or whatever. I won't believe any mystical explanation until all regular physical explanations have been exhausted, and they haven't, by far. Why is it so difficult to believe that "gods" could really just be extraterrestrials posing as deities, simply because we humans see them as such, because they're vastly more advanced, at least technologically, than we are? I've learned not to attribute nonsensical mystical meanings to things that can best be explained through physical phenomena. You're living in the dark ages.... DENY IGNORANCE. That's what this site is all about.

I still haven't found anything on this. Does anyone know of a site or two I could go to, with samples of all known written human languages, and a large sampling of science fiction languages?

I had a similar dream a couple of nights ago and while researching to get some answers I came across your post, and I wanted to share it with you and the readers. Here it goes:

In my dream I was walking on the sidewalk of a busy street when all of a sudden I heard people yelling and screaming, and looking up to the sky. I looked up to see what it was and I saw some sort of flying craft in the shape of a triangle. It had a red light on the bottom. At first all I coud see was the bottom of the flying object, but after further inspection, I could see the entire thing and it looked like a pyramid. It was a solid black tetrahedron with a red light on the bottom. The craft was being followed by what looked like an un-manned military drone. There was another UFO flying over the pyramid, but I could not see it clearly. After that I remember seeing footage of the flying pyramid on the tv news. That's it.

This dream is bothering me a lot because after I started researching "flying pyramids" and "dreams of flying pyramids" on the internet, I have found out that there have been actual sightings of pyramid UFOs in recent years, and I was not aware of that. So I too wonder if this is some kind of message.

I wonder if the ancient civilizations of the world witnessed actual flying crafts in the shape of pyramids descending from outer space, and they built pyramids as a tribute to these space travelers.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I just wanted to share that with you.
