Really interesting article, I think it is amazing that we might create truly artifical life. Kinda scary in a God complex kinda way, but also very interesting. We would for the first time get to tes the theory of evolution on 100% artificial life, and see how it develops to overcome obsticles in its natural environment..... just AMAZING!!!!

Wow! Thanks for the info. I guess that puts them one big step closer to artificially created "life". Seems like they are playing with fire to me.

I'm not a creationist by any means, but reading this sounded like someone claiming they were one step closer to gaming because they had created a PS3 case.
