I know, friend, and it's coming real soon. I am telling everybody I know - in advance. When the next big-one happens (and my prediction of war with Iran comes true), I am hoping that these people will listen more open-mindedly to the excellent research which exists, demonstrating your point, that very few people control just about everything. Plus, I believe we can each live outside the control paradigm by personal choice (it's not usually easy at first, but I think it's worth the effort). I offer my solidarity - I know what you mean in your comment.
