KILLER BEE OVERLORDS BY 1999! OK, 2003!, OK, 2019!

Killer bees were supposed to take over North America by 1999, making it uninhabitable for humans, who would have to bow down for their new insect overlords.

This was on nearly every show I saw when I was a kid in the 80s. What happened? Do we owe our freedom to Raid and Black Flag?

Thank God we discovered insect spray. That was a close one.

Hey, I for one was terrified of the killer bee invasion. Good thing they got occupied with taking over Mexico. Armageddon waits for another day.
