This thing is a beast. I thought some of you might enjoying watching this.
Enjoy!

Yeah, my shoulder hurts after watching it. That weapon in it's current form is unmanageable at best and a shoulder breaker at worst... Needs more recoil reducing technology in it, though I imagine they developed it realizing this and did it mainly just for fun...

One word. Rowdy! That gun is single-handedly the most outrageous and ridiculously over powered piece of weaponry i've seen since the nuke... If you shot a man with that gun you could sever his entire torso in two.
Thanks this was awesome.

A question. Is this classified as an 'AOW'?

I believe that a weapon having a bore over .75" is Class III? Not sure, just wondering.

It might be viable if mounted on a stable platform.

I could see something like this being useful as a anti-light vehicle weapon.
Or maybe against robot terminators...

Here is the Wiki article

The cartridge propels its 3,600 gr (230 g) bullet at approximately 2,200 ft/s (670 m/s). This yields a muzzle energy of 38,685 ft·lbf (52,450 J)[1] and a momentum of 154.1 Newton-seconds. This kinetic energy would allow the .950 JDJ to pass through several body-armored humans. It is comparable to the original tank rounds of World War I in terms of ballistic energy.

Specifications
Parent case 20 x 102 mm Vulcan
Bullet diameter 0.950 in (24.13 mm)
Case length 4 in (101.6 mm)

I admit I would just scrap the rifle and develop a Vulcan type weapon around the cartridge.

But hey, if you guys are going dinosaur hunting, have at it.

The wiki claims this:

As its name implies, rifles chambered for the cartridge have a bore diameter of 0.950", which would normally classify them as Destructive Devices under the 1968 (1934) National Firearms Act. However, SSK sought and received a "Sporting Use Exception" to de-regulate the rifles, meaning they can be purchased like any other Title I rifle by a person over age 18 with no felonious criminal record.

Thanks, muzzleflash. That answers my question.

I think it is a bit more gun than I expect to have a need for, but it is good that the option is legally available for those that do.

Ok , so I dare some loony to make a fully recoil suppressed full auto version. How drugged up would a person have to be to actualy go through with that?
