No I am not saying politicians are Robots I am saying that in the future they will be!
Everyone hates politics. If we are to create machines that are smarter than humans and eventually smarter than the entire human race would it make
sense to try to get these machines elected into office? We already joke today about our politicians being robots and out of touch with reality.
Imagine if a real robot ran for office! Maybe not on its own but with help from a certain forward thinking party pushing its agenda? I think it could
be a possibility in a distant future election! Could a future WATSON type machine be used in place of a real candidate? Will that pave way for
political Androids?
This assuming politics remains relatively the same in the next few decades. It would be the perfect stage to test the android's intelligence and
human-like qualities much more than a simple game of jeopardy
I suppose it is in a way possible, but IMO it would more than likely be a person using a computer to analyse the outcome of certain
legislations/policies, and they will act accordingly to the information the computer gives out. The "choice" that the public will have is who should
be elected to ask the computer questions.
Never the less, its a great idea for a sci-fi film.
