Brits had the worst tanks and the best tank.

Worst - Valentine Cruiser types.

Best - Centurion.

Most effective tank - obviously T34/85.

However, don't forget General Hobarts "Funnies".

As for Shermans, the only decent one was Firefly, and that was a British Mod. 17 pounder gun allowed it to hit back at German machines from equal range. Still had no armour, though.

Dude, you're really p*ssing me off here. I am a proud National Socialist myself (in political beliefs only, no camps), and a HUGE fan of German tanks from WWII. The IS was a terrible series, more prone to breakdowns than even the Königstiger. The gun stank, and it was slow as hell! There are so many cases of Panthers popping out from trees and from in-between buildings, pwning a stalin and retreating again. The Panther was even determined to be the "best land vehicle of WWII" by a history proffessor (I think the name was Prof. John Kirk, but I'm not sure), and I'm DAMN PROUD OF THAT! I say Panther all the way.
