This brought tears to my eyes (and not in a bad way.) People from 30 countries all over the world collaborating over the internet to perform a well known piece of classical music. This is the kind of collaborative, unifying, creative effort that I feel the internet is ideal for. That I saw this beautiful act of coming together at a time when many suspect war is waiting in the wings created a bittersweet contrast which was incredibly moving.

Things like this, for me at least, affirm that the internet is possibly the greatest and most important tool for human communication, education, and cooperation ever invented... when used to that end.
