I hope this is the right place to post this, if not please let me know.

I have been working on this diagram for a bit and i feel that is time for others to help me in trying to solve the problem for i feel that it is not complete and i cant find the answer. The diagram sort of speaks for it self it attempts to depict the interaction between the body mind and spirit which i believe are the keys to reaching our full potential. Even if this might be common sense to some of you it was never to me and i want to be able to visualize it to better understand it.

Basically what is saying is The self (Center) is made up by the Spirit (Gives meaning), Body (Gives Experience) and the Mind (Gives Knowledge). The Spirit and body are connected by thought (Positive/Negative) the Spirit and Mind are connected by Emotions (Fear/Love) and the Body and Mind are connected by the Brain(Senses) (Balanced/Unbalanced). There are all Affected by the Environment the Self is in and a Conscious spirit Will give Meaning a Conscious Body will give experience and a conscious Mind will give Knowledge otherwise the Self is deprived and far from thriving.

Do you agree with my current hypothesis diagram? would you add? remove? change? something, i want and welcome any help you can provide and hopefully this might help someone.

thoughts and emotion are not separate from the mind. They are the mind. The mind is a physical thing, it is a projection of the brain which is body. Spirit would be the subjectivity of the mind. And speaking from experince i'm not sure that is produced by the brain but may be in a sense "accessed" or could be happening at a fundamental level of existence within the brain

The way i have it set up they are all connected none of them is separate from eachother, emotion, thought and senses are simply the connections between the mind, body and spirit.

thoughts and emotion are the mind. They are not contained in the mind like it seems you're saying.

The way i see it the Body/Brain > Mind > Thoughts > Emotions, from left to right who creates who.

bc you're using the mind the make that connection. Drop the mind and observe. What seems to be one is actually two. Awareness is separate from the mind.

an emotion is a thought, a really juicy thought

if you want to put it in terms of whose creating what its more of
food creates body, body includes brain. Brain projects mind, mind builds up identity,an accumulation of impressions. The essence of the mind is thought.

Ill be honest I'm still not really sure what you are trying to say, but i disagree that emotions are thoughts or you would be able to express them in language and describe them but i do believe they are part of the thought process.

I think an important step towards reaching your full potential is releasing yourself from *cultural values* that hold you back.

It constantly surprises me how many lies people believe are true just because their culture says so, and most of these lies hold you back from your full potential simply because they are keeping you from seeing the truth.

Use truth and logic in your values instead of assuming things based on cultural norms. A lot of this can be accomplished by replacing values with cause-and-effect scenarios and using evidence to support them, and a lot of it can be done by thinking of good values as being healthy and bad values as being unhealthy for your life experience and that of others.

I like the diagram you made a lot, I just think this is something to consider in a different diagram maybe?

I completely agree with you i took that into consideration so i added the environment which is culture/people/ and everything else that is outside of yourself.

I think a look at the neurological structure of our brains can be rather enlightening.

How the brain evolved is most revealing.

`Primitive` brain structures like the basal ganglia - which play a vital role in our decision making, it assembles decision rules e.g. `that worked` that `didn`t work` . Due to its zero connectivity with the verbal cortex it is unable to `tell us` in words - so we receive the information as a feeling.

Its as if we have this ultra modern house (the neocortex) that has been built around an old cottage (the sub-cortex) ...... all the old wiring and plumbing is still there and integrated with the modern network.

I like to think of it this way:
Many of our brains processes begin at a sub-conscious level ....... bubble to the surface - when the bubble breaches the surface that's consciousness.

We do not really have the language to discuss the us that does stuff that we are not aware of.
