What's the Deal With Waco?

I just tried to view the Alex Jones interviews with a FBI agent and another with an ATF agent on prisonplanet.com, but couldn't get them to work. Anyone know of any conspiracies behind Waco?-I hadn't thought about it before today.

I have heard a couple of conspiracies about Waco, generally that it was another Jim Jones/Jonestown type of situation (for those who are not familiar, Jonestown was rumored to be a CIA front for experimental mind control, a la MKUltra, and the mass suicide was a combination experiment of just what they could program people to do, and a way to get rid of those that had become a liability)

I am of the crowd that believes that the ATF simply got a collective hard@n when a strictly anti-gun president was elected and was more than happy to forgo any and all constitutionality, and ignore the fact that the Branch Dividians really hadnt committed a crime and put on a show to display for Klinton of what they wanted to do to the rest of the country.
