""It's for your protection as well as ours""

Do we need an ID system for anti-depressant users ?

I'm on a med right now that (quite frankly) scares me. I'm in a catch-22 with this stuff. I tried a simple experiment recently: I took myself off the stuff for a brief period of time.

I crashed harder than I've ever crashed before.

My dilemma is that I truly fear staying off the stuff because in a sense it's helping me through a tough time. When I'm on it, I can function (on some weird level).

And yet I'm looking around at all this instability in the world and I can't help but wonder: what will happenen if/when the SHTF and people can't get their meds? For whatever reasons. No money or the pharmacies run out of them...?

I know others who are beginning to ask the same questions.

Get off the crap now for your own good.

They classify this crap as non-addictive ..... BUT

It's like the pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow....

It ain't really there !

You know when the corruption of this big lobbying interest are in Washington when you see the FDA allowing big pharma to target our babies and children with their poison right after they just out of the womb.

The bills that they have concocted to start preventive care on babies to avoid supposedly diseases later on in life is overwhelming and the sad part is that if the parents are already taking crap they will allow their babies and children to take too.

When my daughter was in college she had 4 roommates, all of them were already in antidepressants because their parents were on antidepressants too.

Now what that tells you.

""When my daughter was in college she had 4 roommates, all of them were already in antidepressants because their parents were on antidepressants too.""

They call it "generational Welfare"

It is rampid.

Is just terrible, the millions of people in this country that takes two or more medications a day for treatments.

Even I have to take blood pressure medication, but I dictate how much and how many, my doctors has been trying very hard for years to push two and three type of blood medications on me including the statins and the rest that comes in the list.

If I have given away myself to doctors I will be right now taking over 10 different pills, I tell them to no even try to go there.

I only take half of a blood pressure pill, I happen to be in that 3 percent of pesky patients that react badly to medications including the pain killers after surgery that are use for those that can not take conventional ones, because I am allergic to morphine that is how I found out that I am now allergic to the alternative to it.

So now I am scare to death of having another surgery.

Funny, I am not having any problem with natural remedies.

I am actually in the process of "discontinuation syndrome" even after gradually stepping down my antidepressant meds over 45 days or so before stopping completely this past Thursday. I will never ingest that crap again.
I find it strange that it is deemed "discontinuation syndrome" when they are referring to Big Pharma's drugs, but it is called withdrawl when referring to anything else. The way they put it, it makes it sound like there is something wrong with me for feeling sick because I no longer want their poison.
I am sure they know it will make people sick when they attempt to stop. One of my friends wants to stop taking his antidepressants but the feared gauntlet of nausea and vertigo keeps him dosing and I don't doubt that there are many others that fall into that category.
It is a messed up game they are playing with our lives to keep everyone docile and "happy".

I had quite a serious depression that started in autumn '07. By spring '08 I had had enough of the continuous thoughts of suicide and other unpleasantries (crying continuously, insomnia, etc.) so I decided to unilaterally get off all the meds my doc had prescribed and which hadn't helped the depression in the slightest. I asked the doctor to give me still a couple of weeks off work so that I could do this. He obliged but the agency that allows/disallows such things rejected it and said that if I was well enough to make such a decision then I wasn't sick at all and that I had to now prove my illness to them. Anyone who has had a reasonable degree of depression will see the horror of this statement. I was apparently faking to my psychiatrist but this bureaucrat doctor (not a specialist, of course) would see right through it.

It's all a big, ugly lie. Every pill you pop puts money in their pockets for the long-term. Just stop them.

There's always a root cause to depression. Big pharma would have us believe that it springs from nowhere and that the fault lies in the chemistry of our brain. Real snake oil stuff - ask your doc what the correct chemical balance of the brain is. They won't be able to answer. If I turn the corners of my mouth upwards (imitating a smile) the muscle movements in my face alone will alter the brain's chemical balance.

Rather than fixing a broken society they set about 'fixing' us to fit into this crazy world.

I've looked into this every way possible .. there is no escaping the Plaquinel. It works well .. I can actually function when I'm taking it ... but it's just that you never know what else is in there. I have no choice. Without it ... I'd rather be dead. Yes,that's how bad it is.

There are things the doctors don't know - so they can't tell you - that cause your condition. Auto-immune, yes? Please contact me via u2u and we can talk. There is a very good chance I can help you to free yourself. Unfortunately your condition also comes with certain "other" things that may entirely preclude this help. Let's see how you respond.

I absolutely agree with your statement saying there is a root cause to depression. The pills they give away like candy does nothing to address whatever the root cause may be and actually acts as a diversion and only gives you a quick fix to a serious problem. It is like putting a bandage on a cracked and leaking dam and then encouraging the patients to not look into how they can repair the damage themselves. Then when the dam breaks they say it was because the patient was either off their meds or they weren't taking enough.
It may be painful to dig into your being to find why you allow yourself to be depressed, but the most important thing this search can teach you is that we each have to OWN our feelings in order to control and understand them.
But I guess the pill pushers don't want people to understand themselves because that would put a big dent in their income.

shush that is to be kept a secret, but know the cat is out of the bag, ya ID is the next step, some states require Doc's statement saying your fit to drive, but you can still be a cop a doc or a lawyer, who'd figure.
